 It serves to collect the bathtub ring and make cleaning easier.  It also functions as a stopping point for the plaster to finish out smoothly.  Classic Reflections normally places accent tile on steps, seats and benches.  This may help aid in depth perception as well as enhance the beauty of your pool.  However if the tile and plaster are the same color, this procedure is not necessary.

Installation of your tile is critical because it is an area of high maintenance if not done properly.  The professionals who install your tile will take the time to actually seal and waterproof the top of your tile.  This will keep water from entering under the coping, freezing and loosening the tile and allowing it to fall into your pool.  This process ensures long life and durability of the tile on your Classic Reflections pool.
